| Story: | Quite a few years ago I was hired by this company to do accounts receivable. When I got there they put me on the accounts payable desk instead. When I told them I wasn't hired for this desk and didn't have any experience they insisted that they never said I was hired for accounts receivables and if I didn't want to do accounts payable then I wouldn't have a job. So I tried the best I could to do the job but no one would help me or train me so I made quite a few mistakes in the beginning. The Vice President called me into her office and yelled at me and made several nasty remarks to me. I went to the person that hired me and who was above her in rank and told him how upset I was. He seemed to take my side and said he'd talk to the VP. In the meantime there were always strange pounding noises in the VP's office and someone finally told me that every month at "that certain time" the VP would get upset and bang her head and fists against the wall because she was trying to get pregnant and obviously it didn't work that month. Well a week later I was called into the guys office that hired me and he fired me and said I wasn't working out. Turns out the VP and the guy that hired me were friends and attended Alcoholics Anonymous together. Guess dried up old drunks stick together! | |||||||||
