Story: So I got a job in a really competitive and highly recongized medical group this past year. I am going to school to get my Master's in Public Health and I figured it would be good to work as a secretary in a doctor's office, so my life and school can catch up. Plus I needed Health Insurance and wanted to make some real money. I get the interview and score the job. The woman tells me that I am going to be at their newest and most pretisgious site. I have a family friend that works for the main site of this practice. When I told her where I was working her mouth gaped open. She proceeded to tell me that the site I was at was disgusting and unprofessional. I figured I would go with an open mind. Two weeks later I started my training. At the end of the week I was to go and meet my mentor. I figured it would be someone with a lot of experience. The girl was 22 I am 24. She was nice and we started to talk. I then met my boss who had been on the job for a month but had plenty of management experience within the company and worked her way up. As the training period went on I got to really like the Dermatology office I was in. I was then told I was moving up to Internal Medicine. So my first day in Internal Medicine, I am stuck in this small office with the switchboard operator. This loud, rude and disgusting person. She spoke about everyone and their buisness. She proceeded to humilate me and degrade me on a daily basis. I shut up and did not bother with her. It got so bad I finally told my boss. Action was taken and I was transferred to another site. I figured oh ok this will be ok. Then when our pay period ended I got a random call from HR at the end of the day. I figured it was about the situation with switchbitch as I call her. I drove over to HR and was ushered into the office of the director who was a cunt. Shen then proceeded to tell me that I was a horrible worker, that I bothered everyone etc.. and that I was fired. It sounded like the switch bitch who did not like me fed her information. I wanted to puruse legal action but I could not.
